Wordpress theme from scratch
This is one of the most clear and useful tutorials I’ve read on the subject. Lam Nguyen made this series that explains step by step how to create your own Wordpress theme out of nothing. You don’t have to necessarily stick with what the free themes or commercial ones offer you. You can always do it yourself as the punks once said, with the aid of good’ old Photoshop or Gimp. Extremely recommended tutorial for anyone serious about blogging.

Check out these cool reflections by the good people from The positive Space Blog.
