  2. okay i think i really REALLY care about this if it is in fact what i think it is…lemme explain
I LOVE my animated gifs, and im REALLY REALLY (there is no bolder option to put here so repeat really infinitely plz, ty) pissed that my droid does bupkiss with them. I can only see the first frame. My contract expires in june and ill look then at other carriers with other phones. because i want everything i have now with the g2- all its customizability and multiple programs, complete microsoft works compatibility, all the little gps programs and searches and stuff but with animated gifs. It’s a 500 dollar phone that i paid for in full and in cash and if i had realized it earlier i would have handed it in.

ok now that u see just how much I care – this article indicates i may possibly be able to see animations, but in what format?? If it’s a program i have to download to view them i’ll do it. If i need to convert i’ll do that to. I’d prefer to not pay for it but id toss them a buck or two if i could have it fully integrated into my phone in regular gif format so i can see them in browsers and save them and send them at will.

tell me is this article telling me i’m one step closer to not having to get a different phone in june??

@jjay I think you can install animated gifs on android. But, trident is going to add more support for complex animations, so I guess if that’s what you are looking for, you are surely going to get it.
