Today’s Featured icon set: Lot’s a balls

Do you only think about the superbowl while your wife is feeling kind of …you know…”funny”? You can’t stop watching that ESPN goal resume while your girl is standing in front of the TV showing off her new sexy g string? If this has happened to you, I will suggest 2 things: Downloading this incredibly well made icon set by Jamie Adam McCanless is the first thing to do. Then, do yourself a favor and go find some therapy.

Another fine post I’d like to have but in Mac Format? Nope…G, I’ve tried stuffit (The free one) and I can see them but that’s it. My conversion sites do not allow me to convert Mac to Pc and I don’t have time to go find a program……..boo hiss

Please, add a format of the archive that is accessible from Windows (not .sit)!

love this set…. now we’re talking!

  4. i don’t know why there are people so stupid not to understand how to download a sit file. They had to be PC users! Why do they complain? The sets are incredible. Please G keep posting MAc sets. Fuck them if they don’t know how to download it’s their problem.

The problem is not with downloading of the file Ally but in actually being able to access the files within! No need to be sarcastic about it. There are a lot more PC users than Mac out there and here at Iconshock. We have tried using Stuffit with little success. Perhaps you could recommend a viable alternative? Mac has only one single software program that can use .sit files. Is there another alternative software program that us PC users can use to open the files with? If there is can you please tell us what it is?

Ally, go to the cave that you have just crawl out, because this is your rightful place, not spamming and offending people!

    My 2 cents:

    1- download & install ExtractNow

    http://www.extractnow.com/

Now this program needs a ‘library’ to be able to extract SITs

2- download stuffit5.engine-5.1.dll from this list (look for Download Link #44)

    http://download.corruptedfilerepair.com/post/2008/09/21/e_wise_wexe-Download-File-e_wise_wexe.aspx

    3- copy stuffit5.engine-5.1.dll into c:\Program Files\ExtractNow

4- run ExtractNow and open the .sit by right-clicking on the ExtractNow window and selecting ‘Add Archives’

    5- extract the files

6- Sometimes the extracted files will look like

    Cricket I
    Cricket I:AFP_AfpInfo:$DATA
    Cricket I:AFP_Resource:$DATA

    If they do, rename

    Cricket I:AFP_Resource:$DATA

    to

    Cricket I.rsrc

Now you need something to convert them into Windows icons

    7- download & install IconXP

    http://iconxp.com/

Open the .rsrc file(s). You’ll have to select ‘All files’ from the ‘Files of type’ list in the open file dialog.

8- convert to .ico by exporting the opened file

    Hope this helps!
