Note to Pc hardcore fans: Some reasons why developers are turning to Mac osx

There is a general belief that Pc’s are for programming and Mac’s are for designing. And although the market tendencies aimed at that partial truth ten years ago, the tides are turning pretty fast. In fact, we can say today that developers are turning to Mac’s and designers are turning to Linux. My question here is… who’s turning to windows?

This good article by Mark Nutter shows us five good reasons why developers are leaving their trusty, not so good looking Pc’s for the better accessibility and versatility of the always sexy  MacOsx.

  1. I keep saying if u dont grow u die. And windows has grown…lumps. Microsoft in general isn’t keeping up with societies demands for more, better, sleeker, and less damn headaches to go with. They’re trying but its not coming out right. Either they’re too old, to stuck in old ways, too inept, or too blinded by their bank statements to see their future right now is looking like a gravestone next to DOS and IBM unless they start listening and fixing crap legitimately instead of bandaids and duct tape.

Definitely this articles is ‘pro Mac’ and arguments in general sucks, although they really tried to be fair.

I’ll point few things that I think everybody know, so there is no need for debate there:

    - “Open Source Friendly’ … give me a break, if Mac is Open Source Friendly, then Windows is open source.
    - and in general all points under first reason suck

*** Modern operative system with one mouse button – it is worse than DOS
