I just found out this very interesting post by Rob Griffiths, where he gives us a clue on how to change those strange icon mess-ups you find under Leopard. Rebooting your Mac, using mace pepper spray or unplugging the power chord are options not included.

LOL G, I have the same problem on a PC sometimes and not just with icons, with pics denoting whats in a folder….I’ve always felt that puters have some kind of soul and depending on it’s mood depends how it’s gonna act for ya that day…I know a few years back I had a computer possessed by the devil himself (or his brother) and tried to have an exorcism to evict the lil demon to no avail….so I got a better puter and all is well……I think it;s a great article by Rob though and I’m sure it will help someone in need! Thanks for posting.
