Free web icons: Japanese New year

Japan used to celebrate their new year based on the Chinese lunar calendar. But since the late nineteenth century, (1873) they switched to the gregorian calendar, like most of the world. Despite the shift of dates, they continued using their ancestral symbols and customs. Check out how these customs are depicted with extraordinary detail in these icons by S_heaven. Icons come in ICNS format.
