Firefox 3 and Opera 9.5, two new versions for our favourite web browsers

Today was a good day for web browsers. The newest version of Opera was released today handling out it's newest features. Concidencially, today was announced the release date forMozilla's browser Firefox, scheduled for June 17.

Opera offers with it's new version, access to your favorite sites from everywhere by synchronizing them your bookmarks between your computer and mobile. Additionally, it not only stores the URL and title of the pages you browse, but it also remembers the content, which allows an easier search of content when you're looking at your visited sites history. But definitely, the biggest advantage this new browser has is the fact that it's the fastest browser yet developed, since it loads pages andplugins a lot faster than the other options in the market. It also has a new, more intuitive, UI . The main changes in this subject are, the possibility yo access your favorite links by clicking a button (Speed Dial), and Mouse Gestures, which allows the user to define certain common shortcuts with the mouse and the possibility to pause and resume downloads. Finally, you can activate Fraud Protection in order to keep your computer safe from all different threats we can find on the Internet.

On the other hand, we were finally given a release date for Firefox 3. As you probably already know, Mozilla expects to reach a World Guinness Record one June 17, by releasing Firefox 3 and trying to get as many possible downloads during 24 Hours. This event has been highly promoted for the past weeks, but we thought it would also be good to highlight the new features available on Firefox 3, and that way to persuade more people to take part of this initiative. With Firefox 3 we can make a better use of you address bar, since it becomes an Smart Location Bar. This means it keeps track of your browser history not only storing the address of each page, but titles, descriptions and even tags. If you bookmark a page, yo can classify it and tag it, so you can find it easier later. Another improvement is the possibility to access to thewebsite's owner information by clicking the favicon . You'll see all data regarding security and who you're giving you're information to. One of the greatest features this new release has, is the possibility to reportMalaware sites to Firefox, and block them automatically. Finally, the possibility to pause and resume your downloads, makes it a good idea yo join the Download Day next Wednesday.

Security is definetly a priorty to the browsers to come, and one of the main reasons why people should upgrade their browsers.
