Websites are not static anymore. The internet is not that place full of animated gifs, popup banners and 56k modems. Ten years ago, web design was thought more as the labor of a graphic designer. Today, web sites are more considered as systems; complex entities that need to interact dynamically with a user. Andrew Maier, one of the most knowledgeable gurus of User interface design makes us a superb introduction to this incredible field.

    It is really quite amazing just have far we have come in such a short period of time. This article puts it quite nicely into perspective. There are Information Architects or User Researchers to provide info / data to an Interaction Designer who knew. I am really impressed by the complexity of it all G. Very informative article. Keep up the good work.

  2. as long as they dont make interactive computers. The last thing i need is for it to get pissed at me when im pissed at me and hit me back!
