Now this is what I believe is know as “The People’s Car.” I used to own an old “Rabbit” as it was known at the time. At the time it was very affordable and economical. I am curious as to which new version you might be referring to G. Volkswagen is planning to launch the successor of new Beetle by 2011. Possible variants included two-seat Beetle roadster, SUV-type Beetle, and the standard hard top. Are you referring to the current production model? When it comes to the current production model than I would have to say that I still like the design and basic simplicity of the vehicle. The future seems to be leaning towards more Eco-friendly hybrids. When I switched over to a hybrid myself the yearly savings were well worth it. Especially with all the city driving that I have to do. Then factor in the cost of insurance and it makes more practical sense to switch over to a hybrid if possible. ;-D ;-D

Back in the day….they were cute, today they are still cute, I saw one just the other day with a big silver wind up key on the back of it, made me smile and made the beetle even cuter..:) Thanks for posting.

my friend’s husband Adam is a huge beetle junkie. His guest room has all kinds of little vw beetle toys all over the place. It’s total beetle heaven!
