It's not sure this will be the final GUI, but it's the one working in the first alpha, and it will surely change according to the testers feedback. I personally find it too dark and the contrast is not efficient enough. The current interface Ubuntu has doesn't please users at all, that's why a change is very important, still, criticism regarding this new interface didn't waited. Let's see what further Alpha Versions will show, hopefully a little less brown.
