Looking at these charts, I really can’t tell which menace to fear the most. Swine flu or the media. News corporations thrive on pumping up scandalous numbers, always hiding serious analysis from the general public. (Yes Mr. Murdoch, I’m talking to you again)
I think we as public, have to be responsible on how we ingest information. We have to filter everything out and take a second look at what we are being told to not become a fiery pigeon of the media.

September 8th
This is a situation that makes me want to scream. We’re talking about mandatory vaccinations on poorly tested medicines, and quarantine. The swine flu is not UNUSUAL in any way!! The flu of any strain will kill a portion of the general population annually. Generally those who are weaker, older, and younger, and dont take care of their immune systems and rest and hydrate themselves properly. For crying out loud diarrhea is still a huge international killer as well. (and its the number one killer in fruit flies!) It’s not like small pox it’s common – its the same basic thing year after year after year. And if you would just flipping wash your hands after you got out of the bathroom or after you sneezed you’re be a LOT safer off! So remove the stupid dust mask – your not fooling anyone. And go about your life without fear. You’ve had the flu tons of times before and you will again. And yes some people will die. But guess what – not an unusual amount over an unusual length of time. So grow some balls people and head out into that big wide world and live a little – just use a bit of soap and water when you’re ready to come in.
