I was surprised to see that despite the massive acceptance of movie themed icons, the amount of high quality sets on the web is rather scarce. Sure there’s a lot of sources, but most of the contributions are made with little technical care and are almost unusable.
On the other side, I was surprised to see the brilliance of the sets I did find; the love and professionalism do show through these 50 examples of the most entertaining icons to make.
Speaking of movies… what was the last movie you’ve watched?
I went to see Michael Haneke’s Funny games yesterday. Crazy and sadistic movie. I liked it.
By the way, sorry for the mess we made with the blog last Friday. I was trying to publish from word 2007 and we were doing some tests, with no success I may add. There’s a voodoo problem with the HTML tags that we are trying to fix, so your favorite blogger can let go for once and for all from the evil spell of the WYSIWYG editor of Wordpress.
Ok, so bring on the icons!
DISCLAIMER

First things first. I have to say that I could have made this list with only Iconshock’s stock of movie related icons. I have searched and searched for about 3 days to find the best movie themed Icons on the web, and to tell you the truth, Iconshock has the biggest collection around. So, I will only list here my personal favorites from the Iconshock stock, and I will place them at the bottom of the countdown, to avoid the mention looking like a pitiful act of self promotion.
